DYNAMIC DUO

Up and coming musician LockStarr teams up with fashion designer Vaughn Jereaux in creating a hit single for his highly anticipated clothing line: The American Boy Collection.  As seen on BET’s Rip the runway, the American Boy collection is a series of men’s cardigans created to accommodate the universal lifestyles of men.

There is no disputing the relationship between fashion and music.  Many recording artist refer to designer apparel in their songs. “This is a more intimate approach to a common practice”, LockStarr states.  “Vaughn’s collection is more than just creative versatility, its patriotism, it’s a symbol of valor, its  youthful, trendy and fun.  So a simple reference wouldn’t suffice. Every super hero has a costume and a theme song, I just wanted to write and produce a song that equally displays these elements” she continues.
